Pengaruh Media Genially Terhadap Hasil Belajar PAI Siswa Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Gebog Kudus
Abstract
Abstract: The accelerated progress of digital technologies has encouraged educators to continuously innovate in developing interactive and engaging learning media to enhance students’ motivation and academic performance. One digital platform that aligns with the demands of 21st-century education is Genially. This web-based tool allows teachers to create instructional materials equipped with visual features, animations, and interactive elements. The purpose of this research is to analyze how Genially-assisted instructional media influence the Islamic Education achievement of seventh-grade learners at SMP Negeri 1 Gebog Kudus. A quantitative experimental design was employed, utilizing a pretest–posttest control group model of an experimental group taught with Genially and a control group taught through traditional methods. The research instrument used was a validated and reliable learning achievement test administered both before and after the intervention to measure students’ progress. The analysis demonstrated a statistically significant distinction between the groups, with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which is less than or equal to 0.05, indicating that students in the experimental group experienced greater improvement in learning outcomes than those in the control group. This allows the conclusion that the use of Genially-based learning media has a positive and significant impact on student learning outcomes.
