Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Masyarakat Melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Tas Anyaman Berbahan Plastik Sintetis Di Dusun Bendo, Desa Karanganyar

Abstract

Abstract: This community service program aimed to strengthen productive skills and create alternative economic opportunities for women in RT 01, Dusun Bendo, Karanganyar Village, through training in making woven bags from synthetic plastic. The program used an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach operationalized through initial data collection, asset identification and focus group discussion, formulation of community aspirations, program design, program determination, implementation, and reflection. Field documentation in the KKN report shows that the weaving-bag training was completed and participants acquired basic weaving skills. Simple product-marketing strategies were introduced; however, monitoring records indicate that product marketing had not yet been implemented optimally and required further assistance. The main constraints included limited market access, production facilities, business capital, materials, and experienced weaving instructors. Therefore, the main documented outcome of the program was the development of productive skills and new economic opportunities, rather than a measurable increase in participants' income.
